A New Signal For Local News
Built • Controlled Testing Underway
The end of a television-station job should not automatically mean the end of a journalist's relationship with the community that trusted them. SignalLive Tulsa was built to create another path.
Adding your name is free. It does not create an account or purchase anything — it makes audience support measurable.
The Announcement
People have been asking for another local-news choice. We built one — and we're now putting it through controlled production testing.
SignalLive Tulsa is built to give trusted local journalists another independent way to serve the community that already knows them.
The signal went dark.
The trust didn't.
SignalLive Tulsa — turn the signal back on.
Audience Support
Comments matter. But measurable audience support can build something.
If the journalists you already know and trust had a new independent way to continue delivering real local news, would you watch them?
Support registrations are counted, never published. This is community support — not a scientific poll.
Support is growing.
The Idea
A corporation can eliminate a position.
It cannot automatically erase years of trust between a journalist and the people they served.
SignalLive Tulsa was built around a different idea:
The station may control the transmitter. It doesn't own the relationship.
Trust follows the journalists.
A corporate decision can eliminate a position. It does not get to decide whether the career is over.
Core Philosophy
The technology isn't the enemy. The question is who it serves. Corporate broadcasting is using AI to reduce its dependence on people. SignalLive uses that same technology to reduce people's dependence on corporate broadcasting — preserving jobs, extending careers, creating new opportunities, and putting the technology back to work for the people it was being used to replace.
The same technology.A completely different purpose.
Technology can be used to eliminate the role — or it can be redirected to preserve the career.
SignalLive was built around the second choice.
Real Journalism
SignalLive does not replace reporting with generated journalism.
The reporting, interviews, field video, verification, writing and editorial judgment remain human.
Virtual production changes how the program can be produced and presented — not whether the journalism itself is real.
SignalLive virtualizes the television studio. It does not virtualize the journalism.
Authorized Digital Twins
SignalLive is built around explicit identity authorization and controlled use.
A participating journalist may appear physically, through an expressly authorized Digital Twin, or through an approved combination of both.
The Digital Twin represents the participating journalist. It does not replace the journalist and does not transfer ownership of that person's identity.
The journalist retains ownership and control of their identity. SignalLive controls the production environment and production system in which that authorized performance may appear.
SignalLive Producer™
SignalLive Producer™ — Built + Operational
SignalLive Producer™ is the operational production-control system behind SignalLive programming. It manages the rundown, approved scripts, talent assignments, story media, timing and production configuration from one workflow.
The next controlled integration phase connects Producer to SignalLive's virtual production environment, authorized Digital Twin rendering pipeline, visual scene preview, quality control and final program assembly.
Virtual Production
SignalLive Tulsa is built around controlled virtual broadcast environments rather than asking generative AI to recreate the television studio for every scene.
Approved sets, camera positions, talent positions, lighting states and programmable display surfaces can be defined as reusable production assets.
That means the studio can maintain visual continuity from show to show while story graphics, video and authorized talent performances change.
Graphics and video can be routed to designated studio displays while the underlying studio remains consistent.
Generative performance. Controlled television.
Visual Production Layer
Integration + Testing Underway
SignalLive Producer is being extended with a visual production layer that allows producers to configure the intended on-air scene alongside the story and script.
The producer can define the virtual set, camera, talent position, routed graphics, video, programmable displays and timing before final talent generation.
The objective is to let the production team preview and preflight individual scenes, complete blocks and eventually the entire rundown before committing to final rendering and assembly.
What the producer sees is what the show is built from.
The Studio

SignalLive Tulsa includes a multi-position virtual broadcast environment built to support a complete local newscast.
Studio areas can be defined with reusable production identifiers for sets, camera positions, talent marks, lighting states and programmable display surfaces.
This allows the rundown to reference specific production locations and visual configurations instead of relying on a generative system to reinvent the studio for each scene.
The virtual facility is being integrated into the production control pipeline.
Continuity
SignalLive does not depend on an AI model to recreate the studio architecture, logos, monitor placement or graphics on every render.
The production environment can remain fixed while the content inside designated surfaces changes.
This gives the production team control over branding, typography, graphics placement, camera framing and studio continuity.
Production Control
AI doesn't decide what the newscast should look like.Producers do.
Technology assists production. Journalists and experienced production professionals retain editorial and production authority.
SignalLive uses AI where it adds value — including expressly authorized Digital Twin presentation — while keeping the rundown, scripts, story media, graphics, studio configuration, timing and final approval under human production control.
How It Works
Real Journalism
Reporting, interviews, verification and editorial judgment remain human.
Approved Rundown
Scripts, story order, timing and production requirements are approved in SignalLive Producer.
Authorized Talent
Participating journalists may appear physically, through an expressly authorized Digital Twin, or through an approved combination.
Visual Production
The production team assigns the virtual studio environment, camera, talent position, story media, graphics and programmable display surfaces.
Talent Performance
Authorized Digital Twin performances are generated only for the scenes that require them.
Scene Assembly
Approved talent performances are combined with controlled studio environments, routed graphics, video and other production elements.
Preflight + QC
Scenes, blocks, media, timing and production configuration are reviewed before final program assembly.
Final Program
The completed program is assembled for final human review, finishing and distribution.
Evidence + Audit Architecture
Integration Planned / In Build
SignalLive Producer is being structured to preserve a production record connecting the approved rundown to scripts, talent assignments, production configuration, generated performances, QC decisions and final program output.
The goal is not to ask viewers or partners to simply trust that nothing changed.
The system is being built to preserve the evidence of what was approved, what was produced and what ultimately aired.
People
SignalLive is not only about the people viewers see on camera.
Directors, producers, photojournalists, editors and other experienced production professionals remain important to how a credible newscast is created.
SignalLive is being designed to give those skills a place inside an AI-native production workflow rather than assuming automation should eliminate every production role.
Saving careers means more than preserving anchor positions. It means creating a production model where decades of experience can continue to have economic and professional value.
A job can endwithout a career ending.
About / Founder
I'm not building SignalLive Tulsa from the sidelines.
I'm currently out of work too. I'm also the primary caregiver for my wife, who lives with severe levoscoliosis, so I understand what happens when income disappears while the bills, medical needs and responsibilities do not.
That is part of why what happened to these Tulsa broadcast professionals hit me so hard.
A corporate decision can make it look as though decades of experience, professional identity and community trust suddenly have nowhere left to go.
I don't accept that.
SignalLive Tulsa was built around a different belief:
A job can endwithout a career ending.
The journalists, directors, producers, photojournalists, editors and other professionals affected by these changes need another path.
So do I.
I'm putting my own broadcast experience, production knowledge, technology and time behind proving that path can exist — starting in Tulsa.
Support for SignalLive Tulsa helps us prove the model, continue building the production infrastructure, and create the conditions for future paid opportunities for experienced broadcast professionals.
I need this independent system to succeed too — not only as its founder, but as someone facing many of the same realities as the people I am trying to help.
SignalLive is not an argument against technology.
It is an argument for putting technology on the side of the people whose experience, credibility and relationships still have value.
The same technology.A completely different purpose.
Support
SignalLive Tulsa is founder-built and currently self-funded.
Support helps sustain the controlled pilot, production infrastructure, technology and work required to prove that an independent model can succeed.
The goal is to turn that proof into sustainable programming and future paid opportunities for displaced journalists and broadcast professionals.
This effort does not yet have a large corporate payroll or institutional backer behind it. We are proving that another model can work.
Journalists
SignalLive Tulsa is preparing a controlled pilot built around experienced journalists and production professionals who want another way to continue serving the community.
The goal is not simply to preserve a familiar face on a screen. It is to preserve careers, professional value, audience relationships and meaningful work.
This is an early interest conversation — not a guaranteed job or employment offer.

FAQ
SignalLive Tulsa™ is an independent local-news production platform built around real journalism, human editorial control, virtual production, authorized Digital Twin presentation and the SignalLive Producer™ production system. The core platform and virtual broadcast environment are built. Controlled production integration and testing are now underway.
No. SignalLive uses AI as part of the production technology, including expressly authorized Digital Twin presentation. The reporting, interviews, field video, verification, scripts and editorial decisions remain human-controlled. AI assists production. It does not replace the journalism.
No. The technology isn't the enemy. The question is who it serves. SignalLive uses AI and virtual production technology deliberately — not to erase experienced journalists and production professionals, but to create another infrastructure through which they can continue working. The same technology capable of eliminating roles can also be redirected to preserve careers, create new opportunities and reduce a journalist's dependence on a single corporate employer.
The journalist does. SignalLive requires express authorization before a Digital Twin can be used. Participation, permitted uses and authorization must be established before the journalist's Digital Twin can appear in SignalLive programming.
No. SignalLive is built around human editorial and production authority. AI may assist with production tasks, but the rundown, scripts, story selection, production configuration, approval and final QC remain under human control.
SignalLive Producer™ is the production-control system behind SignalLive programming. The core software is built and operational. It manages the rundown, scripts, talent assignments, story media, timing and production configuration. The current integration phase connects those controls to the SignalLive virtual production environment, authorized Digital Twin rendering, visual preview, QC and final program assembly.
No individual journalist should be assumed to be affiliated with or participating in SignalLive unless that participation is expressly announced.
Initial digital distribution is being prepared alongside the controlled production test. Launch and distribution details will be announced as the first flagship program approaches release.
SignalLive Tulsa is currently in controlled production integration and testing. The immediate objective is to complete and validate one full proof newscast before the initial public launch.
SignalLive Tulsa is currently founder-built and self-funded. Its founder is also currently out of work and is the primary caregiver for his wife, who lives with severe levoscoliosis. That personal reality is part of why SignalLive is being pursued so aggressively: the people affected by broadcasting layoffs are not abstract case studies. The founder understands firsthand what happens when income disappears while family responsibilities continue. Support helps sustain the infrastructure and work required to prove a model capable of creating future paid opportunities for displaced broadcast professionals.
If you would follow trusted Tulsa journalists to a new independent local-news platform, make your support measurable.
